Question: I've heard so many times phrases like "we are all connected", "we are one". and so on. What does that mean?
Marlana: Remember this, we are never alone, even if we FEEL very alone, in the physical world. We are connected, and not just to others who believe in be ing connected, but all of us, in every second, are connected to others beyond our awareness.
I'm just beginning to get a sense of our multidimensionality lately. I'm learning how to tune into others without words, in a deeper way than I have so far. Imagine a blanket, each of us are like a thread woven throughout that blanket. This blanket, is all one thing, yet connecting all of us to each other, because we are all part of the same blanket. I can almost see Love and Light as that blaniket. We are all made up of Light, so we are connected, like the beams are connected to the sun.
We are connected to other parts of ourselves, and we are connected to other parts of those around us. There have been some scientific experiments that show that cells of the same organ can be separated by miles, yet what affects the cells in one place will affect the cells in another place. Somehow they are communicating with each other beyond anything we currently understand. They are connected.

What this means to me is that the more aware i become of my connection to my "selves" the more I can accomplish in the world. Understanding this connection on a worldwide scale also means that what others do affects me beyond my awareness. So world tragedies affect me, affect you, affect the world no matter where they physically occur. The same thing goes for world peace. It's like how a fire affects a forest. Though the fire itself affects what it touches directly, it also affects the air around it, the animals that run from its smoke, the new growth that is refreshed by the thinning of the trees, and so on.
Being connected means we have a deep responsibility, no not directly to others, but to our "selves". The more peace we create within our own inner worked, the more peace we bring to the world as a whole. If we stay focused on our own spiritual connection with God/Creator/Source, the more we affect those around us who also crave their own awareness of their connection to them "selves" and to their God/Creator/Source.
