About a year ago I developed symptoms of irritable
bowel syndrome, most likely related to stress. I had
all the classic symptoms of bloating, pain in the
lower left descending colon, mucous-like bowel movements
and general intestinal discomfort.
I must admit that I did not run to a gastroenterologist,
not wanting to be subjected to a GI series, etc. I
tried acidophilus, peppermint oil capsules and a colon
cleansing product recommended in a health store but
I still had the problem.
My dentist and his wife, a Naturopathic Physician,
recommended your product, [Intestive*], to me.
It "changed my life" then. I started taking
3 capsules in the morning and 3 at night and within
a day or two, I had no intestinal discomfort or problems.
I read all the literature and keep it on file in my
patient library where I work as a librarian.

I have used Seacure (the main ingredient in Intestive*)
in my practice for chronic bowel syndrome, Crohn's
disease, and ulcerative colitis. My clients have responded
postively and in a relatively short period of time.
Depending on the client's illness we have had results
as quickly as two weeks and some towards four to six
weeks. My clients have less to no pain, the bowel
movements improve towards a more normal bowel movement.
I do feel it is a very good product. I also feel
the patient's eating program is also of uppermost
importance.

Roughly two years, five months ago, only weeks before
beginning a Ph.D. graduate program I first experienced
symptoms of ulcerative colitis. Over the course of
the next two years the symptoms worsened and became
quite serious.
When I first became sick I was prescribed immuno-suppressant
drugs that got rid of the symptoms right away. But
then I became aware of the potentially dangerous side
effects of the medication. At the very least I did
not cherish the idea of becoming dependent on medicine
that worked to suppress the immune system. After coming
off of the immuno-suppressant medicine the symptoms
returned worse than ever. So then I was prescribed
anti-inflammatory drugs which worked on and off but
did not control the symptoms completely. The condition
worsened to the point that five months ago I was on
the anti-inflammatory medicine; yet during the worst
flare-ups I was unable to eat even rice without getting
sick.
So I was quite desperate when I ordered my first
bottle of [Intestive*], but within the first week
of taking the supplement all of the symptoms of ulcerative
colitis had vanished. That was roughly five months
ago and today I don't think I ever have felt healthier
in my life.

Thank you very much for speaking with me on the telephone.
I had some intestinal problems as long as I could
remember. Now after having my children and re-occurring
kidney problems (treated with antibiotics and getting
older, 75) I had developed a problem of explosive
diarrhea at times. Often right after a meal. With
no way of knowing when it would happen, I dreaded
going anywhere away from my home.
I am taking 6 capsules of [Intestive*] daily for
the past 2 months. The results are amazing. I have
now been able to stop using fiber and acidophilus
among other things. Actually the cost of [Intestive]
will be less than what I was using, with very little

I developed diarrhea in August 1996. I tried over
the counter medicine. This did not work. I began seeing
a naturopathic doctor in September 1996. She prescribed
different remedies to no avail. She ran blood work
-- everything came back fine.
I changed doctors in October 1996. He began doing
allergy treatments and prescribed more fiber. This
did not help and I was becoming more weak and depressed.
He suggested doing a $350 stool culture. I had run
out of money by now. I was told if I did not get this
diarrhea stopped I would end up in the hospital. I
did not have any more faith in this doctor. I had
previously done a parasite cleanse. I changed doctors
once more.

Proper Nutrition,
I wish to thank you for making a superior supplement
which has allowed me to return to competition and
lead a higher quality of life due to improved health.
Enclosed you will find a pictorial account of my athletic
career in triathlon and running with accounts of a
serious illness which forced my retirement from triathlon.
Briefly, to give you a quick history in 1992 I finished
second in the Ironman and won the World Ironman series
held in Kona, Hawaii each year. The race consists
of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike followed by a
26.2 mile marathon. My best time for this distance
was 9:08, however in 1993, I developed some difficulties
to which many specialists have not been able to explain
a possible cause or reason after exhausting all necessary
tests. After the completion of the Ironman in 1993
I was rushed to emergency and within twelve hours
I had half of my large intestine removed as I was
suffering from peritonitis and my system was septic.
Due to the severity of my state I was given a colostomy
that subsequently has been reversed. However, for
a while I suffered from problems of malabsorption,
scar tissue and adhesions due to the number of surgeries
of which there were three.
My nutritionist, Dr. Kathie H., N.D., suggested I
try Seacure in 1996, and I now take Intestive. The
results have been wonderful, my strength returned
and my health has been exceptional. I returned to
running in competitions in 1997 and have not looked
back since, I am now able to train and compete with
the same success I enjoyed before my surgeries. Intestive
has enabled me to enjoy a wonderful and healthy life
