I would like to introduce to you, someone I think you will enjoy getting to know.  This is Timothy.  I decided one of the best ways to help you get to know Timothy is to put his story in the form of an interview. 

Marlana:  Timothy, tell me how long you have been doing, "this" and what is "this" that you do? <smile>

Timothy:  The opening for me started when I was around four years old.  I can remember seeing ethereal bodies in the entrance of my room as I lay in my bed.  I was very afraid and quickly asked to have a light on in my room whenever I slept.  This light would stay on until my early teens.Marlana:  What did your parents think about your need to have a light on all those years?

Timothy:  I would mention to my parents about the "ghosts" that I would see at night. I told them they were in my door way, down the hall and throughout the house.  My mother told me that I was safe and that there were guardian angels encamped in every crevice of my room and throughout our house.  I felt protected, safe.  I felt that I could explore in a world that needed to be explored, a world that was calling me home.

Marlana:  Sounds like your mother was actually supportive of your experiences. 

Timothy:  I would continue to be opened throughout my childhood.  I was very lucky; my mother never told me that it was bad or sinful.  No one told me that I couldn't see auras or spirit.  So I just kept seeing them. As a kid, I would immerse myself in reading and watching television programs on paranormal activity and psychic phenomena.  My favorite shows at the time were "That's Incredible" and "Ripley's Believe It or Not".  I was glued to the television, looking for a hint of what I was experiencing.  That was also my way of educating and validating myself.  I really had no one to talk to. Who would I go to at the age of seven and ask for guidance and development? It was a lonely road but yet I always knew I was guided.

Marlana:  Even with support from your parents you still had no peer support.  Did things get any easier as you grew up?

Timothy:  At the age of 15 my abilities started to develop rapidly. Seeing spirit and energy with my physical eyesight increased ten fold. I became very sensitive to energy and started to have amazing experiences.

Marlana:  I can relate to being sensitive to energies, and having to adjust to spiritual growth spurts.  <smile>

Timothy:   All this led me to massive amounts of headaches and a week's worth or not sleeping.  I had to do something.

Marlana, Yes, you must have felt so confused, too.  What happened next?

Timothy:  I went to my first psychic fair where I met a woman who was a medium named Wendy.  I explained to her what was going on with me.  She told me about her teacher named Carol and said she would contact her for advice.  The following day, Wendy called me and told me that Carol wanted to talk to me. I called Carol right away.  That initial phone conversation lasted for more than three hours.

Marlana:  Three hours!  You must have been so excited to talk to Carol, and she to you.

Timothy:  Yes, finally, someone understood me!  Finally, I could bring down the walls that I had put up.  I felt safe to let her into my inner world to help me handle all of these changes.

Marlana:  As they say, when the student is ready, the teacher appears.  <warm smile>

Timothy:  Exactly!  I took Carol's classes and started going to a metaphysical center where she belonged.  Every Wednesday people would come to the center and talk about what was going on in their lives.  It was a great place to grow and to learn from each other.  

Marlana:  What a great setting for you and others like you.

Timothy:  Yes, and on the first Saturday of every month we would have a mini psychic fair.  This is where I cut my teeth on doing readings.  I quickly found my niche and have not stopped since then.

Marlana:  Oh, what fun!  Maybe we can create our own Metaphysical Center in our new Spiritual Chat Community!  We are already having some classes, like your ABCs of ESP.  We'll have to work on putting together psychic fairs.  That would be fun.

Timothy: All I want to do is help people with their spiritual path.  I want to let them know that they are not alone and that I can assist you with what is going on in your life.  

Marlana:  Say more about how you help people along their spiritual path.

Timothy:  I teach courses in psychic development and mediumship.  This is where I help you develop the abilities that we all have.  I am a Clairvoyant Medium, which means I see pictures and feel energy based on what I read from the energy around you.  I channel my guide and I also do spirit communication of loved ones.

Marlana:  Then what you're saying is that you can do all the same things you have done in person out in the "real" world, right here on the website?

Timothy:  Yes, as you have said, we are working with energy.  So, it doesn't make much difference where we are in the physical form.  We can do the same work whether it's by phone, by email, in person, or in the chat room. 

Marlana:  It is great to be able to work with people all over the world in this way.  You and I have come to an agreement here on my website.

Timothy:  Yes, we have, and I'm eager to get started right away.  Why don't you tell everyone what we're building together.

Timothy:  I also want to continue to honor the sliding scale fee structure you have already implemented here.  My usual fee is $150.00 per hour, and if you would like to use the sliding scale that is just fine, you can decide any amount between $150.00 and $100.00. 

Marlana: Yes, and you can make your appointments and payments the way you always  do when you set appointments with me.  Our office takes care of everything, Timothy will confirm his appointment with you, and if you live in the U.S. he will call you and pick up the phone bill, just like we do.  Clients calling from outside the U.S. will have to pick up the tab on the phone bill.

Marlana:  Since you aren't actually a healer, your Psychic Questions item is really more along the lines of what people think of as Psychic stuff.  You would tend more toward information, while I tend more toward healing or changing a situation.  Didn't you say that your first love is being a teacher?

Timothy:  Yes, I truly love teaching spirituality and metaphysical topics to those who are eager to learn and grow.  Keep an eye on this page for upcoming discussion groups, classes and meditations I'm considering doing based on  your interest level.
