From my years as a mental health therapist, there were times when I would be working with an especially depressed or suicidal client and I would wonder how I could possibly touch this person. They seemed to be so far away, so lost, so full of pain and so alone. That's when I would remember that it isn't me, or my "just right" words, or my years of "book learning" that is going to make a difference with this person, it is simply my ability to channel Love, which wasn't taught in college, by the way. <smile>

I had one particular client who came to me in such a state that she could not take in anything I had to say. Our sessions were often silent.

Question: How do we contact our Angels and Guides?

Marlana: Angels and Guides are as close to us as our own imagination. If you are willing to "pretend" you are talking to your Angels, then you can! We use our imagination as a vehicle to carry our intentions, so to us, it feels like we are just "pretending" or making things up. It feels that way because we associate using our imagination with making things up. However, in the other dimensions, what we intend is easier to "wish" into reality, than it is in our dimension.

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar... and the coffee...

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

Meeting Your Angels and Guides

Just before I met Forrist, through the internet, I had found a book describing how to meet and interact with the Angels.  I had read about half of it and was growing impatient with it.  I felt like connecting with them just didn't need to be that hard.

I decided that I wanted to "just do it" without all the reading ABOUT doing it.  So, I laid down on my bed and pretended that I was just going to float up to "heaven" and talk with the Angels.  In a matter of minutes, maybe seconds, I could almost literally feel their wings brushing against me as they circled around me.

QUESTION: I’m having trouble knowing "who" to pray to. Slowly over the years I’ve come to believe that we are all a "piece" of God" and that the Human on Earth is only one of a "group." You’ve told us that you are part of a "group." There are angels like Michael and Gabriel, and masters like Jesus and Buddha, and I assume that they are "groups" as well. I know that we can confer with our Higher-Selves and our guides, but is there any one group or entity In charge? Is there a "Father"? Is the Universe a big democracy?
