Less than ten years ago, before I met Forrist, which seems a lifetime ago now, I was surfing the internet and I found a website all about flower energies. I remember joking with my girlfriend about how crazy it was to think that we could bottle just the energy of flowers and get people to pay for it. We laughed about it and said something like, "...yeah, there's a sucker born every minute".
I just couldn't get any grasp on what flower essences were. I guess the site I was on must not have had a description of the essences themselves. So I had an image in my mind of bottles filled with air. <blush>
So, now, here I am, years later, and I get it! Well, sort of anyway. What I do know is that I take these drops and put them under my tongue and then a few minutes later I notice I feel so much better.
I don't remember now, when I first tried flower essences. I do remember that I kept running into them on the internet, and each time I could make a little more sense out of what I was learning. Finally I started talking about them with Forrist and he encouraged me to try some. We did, and I fell in love with them immediately. We started learning all we could about them. I soon realized that I could interact with both my client's energy and with the flower's energy. The flower energy sort of jumps up and volunteers to be of service to a particular client by being in the blend I'm creating.
I focused on learning how to create the blends, and Forrist focused on learning how to make the Red Shiso base. Both of us really like that we can keep the flower energies in a non-alcoholic stabilizing base. Now we even have a special coffee maker we bought just for making the Red Shiso and we have a wonderful woman who supplies us with our own dried Red Shiso leaves.
My favorite part of making the Red Shiso is when Forrist and I are in the kitchen and he pours the Red Shiso into our glass container with the spigot on it. Then we add the vinegar. The mixture turns to a deep, velvety red, and my heart feels so warm. There is always this moment of sweet silence as we take in the crimson beauty and each of us are connecting with God/Source/Sprit and sending powerful healing Love energy into our creation.
One day, Forrist reminded me of how our intentions make so much difference to water molecules, as has been demonstrating in is water crystal studies. So, now we have a little sign on our beautiful Red Shiso container that is filled with words such as "Love" "Joy" "Healing" and so on.
A while ago I felt a gentle nudge to expand a little more in the area of the Flower Spirit Blends. As I listened to these "Inspirations" I soon got a whole list of blends to fit just about any situation It happened pretty fast, actually. I got the list and the basic idea in just a few hours. I really enjoyed how the names of each blend came flying in on its own set of "wings".
The result of all of this is what we now call "Inspired Flower Spirit Blends by Marlana". I really love them because they are supporting anyone finding themselves wanting to move through one phase and onto the next. Because they are based on needs and situations that are common to all of us, they fit nicely with just about anybody.
The great thing about flower essences, in general, is that they can't really hurt anyone, they are energetic, so it's impossible to overdose, or get the wrong one. Some essences work better during some life experiences than others, and that's exactly what the Inspired Blends are all about.
If you haven't tried flower essences, and it all still seems a bit "woo woo", just keep reading and listening, opening up your heart to the possibility that something really strange could actually work. I'm sure glad I finally found a way to give them a chance. Now, my desk, my fanny pack, the car, the kitchen table, the medicine cabinet and Forrist's desk hold several bottles each, some are flower essences and some are homeopathic remedies; the other weird thing I used to think was a ridiculous waste of time. <blush>
